History: Skyler Hope’s timeline is very similar
to our own, but much more technologically advanced. One
pivotal difference is that the destruction of the space
shuttle Challenger never transpired. Subsequently, the world’s
space programs continue to thrive, and they provide much
of her planet’s newest technologies. In the mid 1990’s,
the Earth’s moon was eventually colonized. Still fueled
by a passion to explore the heavens, mankind integrated
toward a more universal ideology. Skyler Hope, the product
of this neo-industrial and cultural revolution, worked her
way from small town America to become an up-and-coming entertainment
icon. Recently a hot commercial property, Skyler now tours
the world. Her music can be heard not only on Earth but
also on the lunar colony. Skyler hope is a pop sensation
with an attitude. Although she hasn’t paid all the dues
necessary to earn her fame, she isn’t a slouch in the talent
department either. A bit of a hothead and a prima donna,
she’s kind but also prone to mood swings and temper tantrums.
Powers: Skyler’s Quantum fragment appears to be
grafted to her larynx; a fact that she has kept hidden to
the general public by wearing a choker necklace ribbon.
The fragment gives her the power to open wormholes in
space/time using
her voice. Unaccustomed to this power, it is random and
mostly beyond Skyler’s control. The singer can create gateways
that allow her and her companions to travel to other parallel
dimensions. Frederich Stoltz has quickly tutored Skyler
in the use of her gift, and with Stoltz acting as a compass
Hope can escort Nick Vargas and company around in space
and time.
